They Still Burn Newspapers: Angola’s Zero Tolerance Towards Investigative Journalism

In the age of blogs, social media and all sorts of information technology innovations, some governments still think they can just burn thousands of newspaper and magazine issues to stop a publication.

Reporter Rafael Marquis de Morais, who usually publishes the results of his investigations in his blog, explains the situation in Angola in the story Zero Tolerance Against (Media Investigating) Corruption. The story is part of The Corruption Notebooks series of the Global Integrity Report 2010.
