Nada Zohdy

Director, Open Gov Hub

Nada joined Global Integrity in September 2015. As Director she oversees all operations and programs for the growing social enterprise that is the OpenGov Hub. She leads the design and implementation of programs to promote collaboration, innovation and learning across the Hub network of 40 member organizations. In 2015 she received a Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she was a Pforzheimer Nonprofit Fellow and focused on linking democracy/governance with social entrepreneurship/innovation. Nada’s prior experience includes: serving as a consultant for the OECD through her applied Master’s thesis focusing on local civil society groups’ perceptions of open government reforms in Tunisia; and working as Founding Program Coordinator for Civil Society Partnerships at the Project on Middle East Democracy (POMED) where she created an unprecedented program that supported a dozen local watchdogs and think tanks in transitioning Arab countries in the wake of the Arab Spring. She is currently a board member for Rhize, and organization supporting people-powers social movements around the world, and a 2009 Truman Scholar.
