Alan Hudson

Executive Director

Alan has 25 years of experience working to understand and improve governance in a variety of different roles. Before joining Global Integrity in 2014, Alan was the Policy Director for Transparency and Accountability at the One Campaign. Prior to that, Alan worked for the UK’s development agency (DFID), the Overseas Development Institute, the UK Parliament, the Open University and the University of Cambridge. Alan studied Human Geography at the University of Bristol and completed a Ph.D. on the relationship between globalization and sovereignty at the University of Cambridge. Alan’s professional passion is to put locally-led innovation, politically-engaged learning and adaptation at the center of the governance and development agenda.
