Global Integrity will offer a scholarship for a journalist based in an Arab country to attend the 7th Annual Conference for Arab Investigative Journalists on December 5-7 2014 in Amman, Jordan. The conference is organized by the Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ).

The scholarship will cover the flight from the reporter’s home country to the conference, hotel, and a per diem to cover meals and transportation. Selected journalists won’t need a visa to enter Jordan (Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc.).

To apply, Arab journalists should fill out this form. Applicants must be fluent in English and explain in no more than 4-5 paragraphs how participating in the conference could make a difference in their journalism career or enable the reporting of a story they are working on, or plan to work on. Global Integrity and ARIJ will select one journalist to participate in the conference at their sole discretion.
